About us
Our trailers
What makes ANDOVER heavy trailers technologically different:

- Since heavy machinery rests on a trailers curbs and often on side skirts, our frames are built with the bearing beams on the curbs. - The most important factor in determining the durability of a heavy trailer.
- The bed is extended up to 9,5 metres by a forward-shifted hitch. (Standard length is 12m rearward of the bolt)
- The low-profile, gently sloping neck is constructed to bear loads and can be used as an additional bed.
- Retractable side skirts help transfer load over to the frame. Andover trailers have the most side skirts in their class, which further helps transfer load from the sides.
- Ramps can be hydraulically shifted to the sides.
- Ramps are also made to last, built from continuous material (no welding seams) - to ensure high load bearing.

This is what the frame construction differences look like:

Bearing beams on the curbs, all of the actual load (i.e. from bulldozer tracks) is absorbed through the curbs. The high load endurance allows for 100 km/h speeds at full loads. Bearing beams in the middle, poor load handling on the curbs. But due to lighter construction, this design is significantly cheaper.
